Rolo Tomassi, Score and Parts
$75.00
Rolo Tomassi gets its name from a movie called LA Confidential, a film noir set in the 1950s. Rolo Tomassi is actually never shown in the movie, but he’s the criminal in the shadows, “the guy that gets away with it.” The groove in inspired by Bulls*** from the RH Factor album “Distractions,” but the big band sensibility should really taken from the character Duke Ellington’s band always played with on albums like “Such Sweet Thunder,” “The Far East Suite,” etc.
This zipped file contains PDFs of the individual parts and score, an mp3 of the album recording, and a page with notes for performance practice.
